Anybody heard of Rocky Bryant??

First time I heard of this drummer was when I saw Dianne Reeves in concert 2 years back. He's also on her live CD "In the moment". I was simply amazed!!!! Yeah, he had that nice drive happening, nice touch and feel. Awesome tasty chops too. His soloing's flow reminded me of Omar Hakim a little. I think I heard he was on tour with Peter Frampton this summer.

Steve, you're from New Jersey right? Rocky is too, you've heard Rocky play yet? Any comments?

He played with Wayne Krantz in 1995. Will have to find that show. Must be decent to fill Zach Danziger's shoes.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe he hits in D.C. at Columbia Station in a jazz fusion chops fest gig. I just played with a keyboardist who uses him when he's available and uses Sean Rickman(drums)as well.
